The results of the study were reported today by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Environment, which oversees the IRTA. Cartoons brainwashing kids to accept GMOs

What is the best way to change public perceptions on any topic? Through entertainment. The battle to control us through changing (or creating) our opinions is as old as history.  Carefully disseminated disinformation was first documented in ancient Greece, when playwrights and poets created dramas for the sole purpose of indoctrinating their audience to a certain set of morals, standards, and beliefs. When creating his empire, Macedonian king Alexander ...Read full article...

Are you broke and can’t afford healthy food? Here is what you need to do

The lower your income is, the more difficult it is to be particular about what you feed your family. This probably isn’t an earth-shattering revelation to anyone, but if you feel like experimenting, try to buy a week’s worth of healthy food for a family on a budget of, say, $50-75.  Food manufacturers that target lower income shoppers with more affordable products tend to include more GMOs and toxic ingredients in ...Read full article...

Syrian Refugee Crisis now more serious than Rwanda in 1994

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has warned Tuesday that about 6,000 people flee each day from Syria to escape the civil war that began more than two years, an unprecedented flow recorded since the genocide in Rwanda in 1994, which resulted in 800,000 deaths. Currently, the United Nations agency has registered about 1.8 million Syrian refugees, mainly in Lebanon (600,000), Iraq (160,000), Egypt (90,000), Turkey and Jordan. ...Read full article...

Mexico’s “National Crusade Against Hunger” is a ploy to impose GM Corn

In a previous report (“Red alert! GMO avalanche in Mexico”),1 we recounted the circumstances leading up to the imminent threat of the introduction of genetically engineered (GE) organisms (also known as GMOs, genetically modified organisms, or transgenics) into Mexico and several other Latin American countries. The whole continent is seeing a wave of measures, such as seed and intellectual property laws, designed to facilitate multinational control over agriculture. Unfortunately, ...Read full article...

Learn how to Starve a Multi-National GMO Conglomerate

Monsanto seems intent on taking over the food supply of the entire world.  Their sterile, toxic seeds are in every corner of the globe.  Hungary recently made headlines for burning 1000 acres of fields of GMO crops to the ground. Dozens of nations have banned, or at the very least, regulated, GMO crops and products.  The heat is on the monolithic seed corporation, and it’s time to turn the ...Read full article...

Monsanto draws its sharp claws to attack those who protest against its products

Desperate because of the great global awakening to the threat that its products pose to humanity and the environment, Monsanto has done what any other true beast would do when corralled: It has drawn its sharp claws to attack back. One of the most powerful tools in the arsenal of the grass roots food freedom fight is social media.  Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and many more networks allow people ...Read full article...

UN Grocery List includes bread, milk, grubs, beetles and maggots

Have you ever read about a survival scenario where a kidnapping victim, a forgotten prisoner,  or lost hiker was forced to choke down insects in order to survive?  Did it sound repulsive? Demeaning? Even sub-human? Well, welcome your life if the United Nations has anything to do with it. Our “friends” at the United Nations have released a report that promises a solution to world hunger:   Edible insects: Future prospects for ...Read full article...

Sustainable Urban Agriculture in Cuba

The agricultural revolution in Cuba has ignited the imaginations of people all over the world. Cuba’s model serves as a foundation for self-sufficiency, resistance to neocolonialist development projects, innovations in agroecology, alternatives to monoculture, and a more environmentally sustainable society. Instead of turning towards austerity measures and making concessions to large international powers during a severe economic downturn, Cubans reorganized food production and worked to gain food sovereignty as ...Read full article...

The Persuasive Prepper: Convincing Loved Ones to Prepare

If you are a prepper, chances are that you have friends and family who consider you anywhere on the “nuts” scale from a bit eccentric to downright certifiable. This viewpoint, of course, makes it very difficult for you to talk with these loved ones and bring them over to the “dark side” of preparedness with you.  It’s painful to see people about whom you care, blithely going along, spending ...Read full article...
