I challenge you Mr Ed Fladung (I did it that way so no one could make fun of it) to read what happened in Germany in the 1930′s they had a gov’t similar to what we have now and look what happened somebody made mention about 6,000,000 Jews I agree but that didn’t happen back in 1933 or 1934 when Hitler was doing all his planning and scheming there is a lot going on that most Americans are not aware of because the regular media is controlled by the gov’t as to what they can and cannot report maybe you need to do some research in to what is really going on or one day you may be like the German people were back in 1945 when they were finally forced to get their heads out of the sand and see what they allowed to happen because they made the same statements you have made on here like ‘there is nothing wrong with Hitler he has come to save us’ Heil Hitler etc…

And unfortunately, the government and its think tanks have openly and publicly states that dissent must be crushed. If anyone doubts it, let me remind you of the powers given to the executive branch by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

I read all the way through the executive order and all I get out of it is that it recognizes that the government relies on private communication channels to communicate and that in the event of an emergency it will need to be able to do what is necessary to keep those channels of communication operating. It is always possible to take a paranoid position in response to government intervention in the private sector, but we need to be aware that anything that gives the government more power to protect the integrity of the country can also be used to crush dissent which is also one of the functions of virtually every government since maintaining the status quo is always in the interest of those in power.
