AVIATION EMISSIONS FORM FAR-REACHING CIRRUS CLOUD COVER – irrefutable - 

Frank G Noppel confirmed this was a problem back in 2004 in his PhD thesis entitled “Contrail and Cirrus Cloud Avoidance Technology” (Noppel%202007.pdf) CONFIRMING SCIENTISTS ARE WELL AWARE CONTRAILS FORM CIRRUS CLOUD. Mr Noppel proposed technology (with patents of his own) to PREVENT contrail cirrus cloud occurring, due to the concern about the escalating aviation emissions blocking the sun thereby cooing surface temperatures by day whilst warming them by night – yet clearly nothing is being implemented as the emissions continue to escalate globally. READ the following facts as stated by Mr Noppel -

“1.2     Aviation and the global atmosphere

Aircraft pollutants are radiatively or chemically active substances which can reflect or absorb solar or terrestrial radiation or alter the chemical composition of the atmosphere. Particulates and water vapour lead to the formation of CONTRAILS, which, because of their radiative properties, CONTRIBUTE to global warming. Aerosols also play an important role in the formation of cirrus clouds that would NOT form in the absence of aviation, resulting in enhanced cloud formation and the modification of the radiative properties of natural cirrus clouds. 

In average, the backscattering of terrestrial radiation by the contrail’s ice crystals is more effective than the reflection of solar radiation, creating a net positive radiative forcing. First concerns regarding air-traffic and their effect on the climate were made by Appleman [1966].

The potential effects of contrails on the climate were then again discussed by Schumann and Wendling [1990]. Sausen et al. [1998] presented first estimates regarding global contrail coverage, and the issue found its way into the IPCC special report [Penner et al., 1999]. Since then, a large number of studies have been performed to understand formation mechanisms of contrails and their impact on the global climate.

During the tragic events of the 11 September 2001, the airspace over the USA was shut down for commercial and personal air-traffic for a time period of about 36 hours, resulting in the absence of contrails over the USA. Although contrails have a heating effect on the atmosphere on a global scale, they cause locally lower temperatures on the earth’s surface during daytime and higher temperatures during night time [Ponater et al., 2002]. 

The average diurnal temperature range, which is the difference between the daytime minimum and nighttime maximum occurring temperature, is hence reduced in the presence of contrails. Travis et al. [2002] measured the average diurnal temperature range for the periods 8-11, 11-14 and 14-17 September 2001 and calculated its departure from the normal values derived from climatological data between 1971-2000 as shown in figure 1.8. The increase in the departure of average diurnal temperature during the 11-14 September 2001 is larger than it has ever been in the previous 30 years, and it is suggested that the anomaly occurred due to the absence of contrails during the shutdown.

The IPCC reported a radiative forcing from linear persistent contrails of about 20.0 mW/m2 for the year 1992, which was approximately 42% of the total aviation induced radiative forcing. A more precise estimate of the radiative forcing from persistent linear contrails is given in Sausen et al. [2005] with 10.0 mW/m2, rep- resenting approximately 20% of the total radiative forcing from air traffic. The future development of contrail cover and the associated radiative forcing has been investigated by Marquart et al. [2003]. Results suggest that annually and globally averaged total contrail cover and the associated radiative forcing approximately quadruplicates during the next decades due to the increase in air-traffic.

Contrails, contrail cirrus, secondary cirrus and cirrus modification have the potentialto cause a radiative forcing exceeding that of all other air-traffic pollutants combined.”

UK GOVERNMENT ADMITS AVIATION EMISSIONS POLLUTE 2-4 TIMES GREATER THAN CO2

An extract from the aviation White Paper by the UK Department for Transport [2003] sends first signals on how aviation pollutants other than CO2 are already perceived:

“The impact of aviation on climate change is increased over that of direct CO2 emissions alone by some of the other emissions released and their specific effects at altitude. These effects include increased tropospheric ozone, contrail formation and a small amount of methane destruction. The environmental impacts of aircraft have been assessed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (1999) and more recently by the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution (2002), and they are thought to be 2-4 times greater than that from CO2 alone. The broad conclusion that emissions are significantly more damaging at altitude is clear.”

LACK OF SUNSHINE DUE TO CONTRAIL CIRRUS CAUSES VITAMIN D LEVELS TO PLUMMET WORLDWIDE –

Dangers of vitamin D deficiency highlighted -http://www.dh.gov.uk/health/2012/02/vitamin-d/ Hazing and blocking out of the sun to the earth by aviation emissions is reducing the world’s primary source of Vitamin D.  “The UK Government’s chief medical officer, Dame Sally Davies recommended that “all under-fives take vitamin D supplements to aid bone strength” while experts from the British Association of Dermatologists, Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the National Heart Forum, the National Osteoporosis Society and the Primary Care Dermatology Society have said exposure to sunlight is essential to combat a range of conditions.” http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/Home/Doctors-fight-soaring-Vitamin-D-deficiency.htm 

Yet this is becoming increasingly difficult as according to NASA itself the world has seen a 20% loss of sunlight and geoscientists now admit that aerosol spraying forms man-made clouds that spread to create a sky shield. The sky shield reduces sunlight and is called “global dimming”. Geophysicist, Ken Caldeira, a receiver of huge funding for SAI, ironically publicly worries that massive aerial spraying would cool the stratosphere by diverting incoming sunlight, creating CFC-laden ice-clouds that “could destroy the ozone layer.” [from Chemtrails Confirmed 2010 by William Thomas] Rutgers University professor, Robock should know – he worked on the Global Dimming dilemma with Prof. Farquhar.

Now this declares that geoengineering experiments (a.k.a. stepped-up chemtrails) “could create disasters, damaging the ozone layer and potentially altering the stratosphere by eliminating weather patterns such as the annual Asian monsoon rain season, which two-billion people rely upon to water their crops and feed the population. “If you fiddle with the radiative balance of the planet, you affect all sorts of circulation patterns like monsoons, which would have horrible effects on people,” Dr. Cox concludes. “So it would be extremely difficult, in fact impossible, to cancel out the greenhouse effect just by carrying on pumping out particles.” [BBC Apr 19/09]

UNMARKED JETS CAUSING CONTRAIL CIRRUS CLOUD COVER UNTRACKABLE WITH PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE FLIGHTCHECKER

Attempts to track the unmarked jets in our skies spraying aerosols in patterns that are clearly NOT commercial aircraft have been fruitless – as none are locatable on the flight tracking radar available to the public – indicating the in-plain-sight activities of unmarked jets are being carried out by military or privately funded jets without public disclosure and knowledge.

The 1990 Environmental Protection Act has a list of nuisances to which abatement (reduction) procedures apply.  These include: any accumulation or deposit which is harmful to health or a nuisance (see section 79(1)(f)) – The public are being stymied from being able to use this law due to all authorities denying the existence of these activities. A clear violation of their duty of care to the public welfare.

As every attempt by citizens to report aerosol spraying by jets is consistently ignored by authorities responsible, it must therefore be construed that the government is either wilfully negligent and/or complicit with these activities which point to military and/or private companies, of which there are countless performing weather modification services which are for sale on the open market.

One of the CME-listed cities is Des Moines, and we present some calculations that demonstrate how a considerable fraction of the volatility of corn prices in Iowa could be hedged using weather options. The challenge in such cross-commodity hedges is the development of appropriate weather pricing models.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF THE WMO STATEMENT ON WEATHER MODIFICATION

“In recent years there has been a decline in the support for weather modification research, and a tendency to move directly into operational projects. Currently, there are dozens of nations operating hundreds of weather modification projects, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions all over the world.

Operational programmes should be conducted in full recognition of the potential risks and benefits inherent in a technology which is not totally developed.

In recent years, the seeding of warm and cold convective clouds with hygroscopic chemicals to augment rainfall by enhancing warm rain processes (condensation/collision-coalescence/break-up mechanisms) has received renewed attention through model simulations and field experiments.

Operational weather modification projects should be reviewed periodically (annually if possible) to assess whether the best practices are being used.

8.      The Members should be aware that the scope of efforts involved in the design, conduct or evaluation of a weather modification programme precludes the WMO Secretariat from giving detailed advice. However, if requested, the Secretary-General may assist (by obtaining advice from scientists on other weather modification projects or with special expertise) on the understanding that:

(a)     Costs will be met by the requesting country;

(b)     The Organization can take no responsibility for the consequences of the advice given by any invited scientist or expert;

(c)     The Organization accepts no legal responsibility in any dispute that may arise”

The lack of accountability and transparency from EVERY organisation involved in conducting or advising on weather modification beggars belief – whilst the public are kept dumb and expected to bear the consequences without question nor access to legal resources to have these programs terminated.

INTERNATIONAL, CLANDESTINE WEATHER MODIFICATION PROGRAM IS A FACT

NOAA has, under its umbrella, the National Weather Service (NWS). In actuality, these operations have been being conducted by the unaccountable, military industrial complex involving the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada and all NATO countries.

PUBLIC MANIPULATION

The film “An Inconvenient Truth” was a convenient lie – “using a biased presentation to exploit the fears of the public for political gain” and “a blatant intellectual fraud” now used to misinform an entire generation -  

-    As part of a nationwide “Sustainable Schools Year of Action” launched in late 2006, the UK Government, Welsh Assembly Government and Scottish Executive announced between January–March 2007 that copies of An Inconvenient Truth would be sent to all secondary schools in England, Wales and Scotland. The film was placed into the science curriculum for fourth and sixth-year students in Scotland as a joint initiative between Learning and Teaching Scotland and ScottishPower.

Public awareness of SAG has been deliberately suppressed and now manipulated.

The recent Royal Society funded Solar Radiation Management Governance Initiative (SRMGI) indict themselves about the deliberate manipulation of the public in their own notes -

“P - Involve general public because a) they pay for it, b) they have the power to stop it. Keep them informed on what GE (geoengineering) is for, but don’t necessarily ask their permission.” (see screenshot below taken from here.

Professor David Keith, employed by the Royal Society and whose company, ‘Carbon Engineering’ is privately funded by Tar Sands magnate, Murray Edwards and endorsed by Richard Branson, spoke in the hypothetical about the proposed use of SRM on Hard Talk (BBC) on 16-11-11 -  

“What’s unusual and SCARY is that with tiny amounts of money and effort we can directly alter the climate by putting these reflective particles in the stratosphere and that has profound implications right up to geo-political implications.”  He said it raises “security” and “governance challenges”. When asked how it can work whether it is feasible, how much it costs, is SRM  (Solar Radiation Management) the path which looks as if it is viable at the moment – he answered ‘no’..

A later slip of the tongue had Mr Keith unwittingly confirming he did not approve any public action of these programs – “I am happy to see PRIVATE action on cutting emissions by making solar power, more electric vehicles or capture from air – I’m NOT happy to see PUBLIC action on technologies where there’s huge leverage by putting particles in the stratosphere” He also admitted, “People should be concerned about cheap technologies that can manipulate the entire planet’s climate” Mr Keith goes on to describe the alleged ‘proposed’ SRM technique that is actually already in full operation saying –  “You could use aircraft to deliver tonnes or literally MILLIONS of TONNES of very small particles into the upper atmosphere (– irrefutable similarity  to the Welsbach patent) 

THE PUBLIC ARE NOT HAPPY ABOUT ANYTHING BEING SPRAYED ON THEM  – NOT EVEN WATER

When the recent Stratospheric Injection for Climate Engineering project (SPICE) attempted using an SRM technique purportedly only injecting water into the atmosphere, the public reaction was not supportive of even water being sprayed into the atmosphere  (http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v485/n7399/full/485415a.html) It can surely be assumed as a given the public would not support anything else being sprayed if they were fully informed.

NO permission regarding weather modification has EVER been requested of the public therefore NO  permission has ever been given in ANY country.. so NO organisation NOR government NOR private individual has a legal right to be doing this – yet this has gone ahead anyway – and therefore is a violation of human rights.  (Dr Ilya – This is inescapable abuse )

FOLLOW THE MONEY –

The ETC (http://www.etcgroup.org) group said “Rich governments (and wealthy individuals) are hoping for quick fixes rather than risk inconveniencing their electorate or offending industry” stating that  “A moratorium on real-world geoengineering experimentation is urgent. Additionally, the CBD, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and / or the UN General Assembly should seek the advice of the International Court of Justice to confirm that geoengineering experimentation would be a violation of the 1978 Environmental Modification Treaty (ENMOD).  

Any and all gatherings of nations’ leading organisations should tackle head-on the governance of geoengineering as well as the evaluation of other new and emerging technologies that pose grave threats to the environment and to the hundreds of millions (99%) of people who depend upon its health for their livelihoods vs the very few (1%) depending on the perpetuation of geoengineering for their indulgence.

THE LIE OF THE GLOBAL WARMING JUGGERNAUT NOW BEING USED TO JUSTIFY SRM USING S.A.I. MUST CEASE IMMEDIATELY

The Climate Change: Climate Engineering Research Under Review at Copenhagen Consensus 2012 exploration of global policy (dated 5/4/2012) sought to answer the question – “If the global community wants to spend up to, say, $75 billion over the next four years to do most good for the world, which solutions would yield the greatest net benefits?” 

Despite global warming having been exposed as a lie, the answer was – “It would appear that only rapid, repeated, large-scale deployment of potent, shortwave, geoengineering options (e.g., stratospheric aerosols) could conceivably cool the climate to near its pre-industrial state on the 2050 timescale.” Once commenced, termination is unlikely – “For two reasons, once SRM starts, there will be strong incentives to continue it.

First, termination would be unlikely just because it would be costly. Second, as interest groups organize around existing programs, government policy often develops strong path dependence. In sum, SRM is a family of technologies that could offer immense benefits. The proposed research program is inexpensive, a small fraction of current climate science R&D spending and the CC12 budget. The time has come to begin researching this approach to dealing with climate change.”  

The ENTIRE GREEN INDUSTRY risks implosion for the very same financial reasons when the lie is fully exposed.

DDT – A REMINDER – THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE –

In 1962 of Rachel Carson’s classic Silent Spring, which described the results of the misuse of Monsanto’s manufactured DDT and other pesticides. In the fable that began that volume, she wrote: “It was a spring without voices. On the mornings that had once throbbed with the dawn chorus of robins, catbirds, doves, jays, wrens, and scores of other bird voices there was now no sound; only silence lay over the fields and woods and marsh.”

Silent Spring was heavily attacked by the pesticide industry and by narrowly trained entomologists, but its scientific foundation has stood the test of time. Misuse of pesticides is now widely recognized to threaten not only bird communities but human communities as well. The very same makers of this pesticide –Monsanto - have now geo-engineered ‘aluminium-resistant’ seeds that places like Hawaii now have to purchase due to the elevated levels of aluminium in the fallout from chemtrails.

The truth of what thousands of people are experiencing and documenting is, as described in the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee’s report on The Regulation of Geo-engineering, the Solar Radiation Management technique officially known as Stratospheric Aerosol Geoengineering (S.A.G.) ie the release of large quantities of aerosols into the atmosphere from jet airliners – currently being ‘proposed’, yet clearly already in action. Under the more commonly used term for SAG, ‘chemtrails’, a simple search online will bring up the 9,100,000 chemtrails videos and 8,760,000 articles about chemtrails.

This many entries, searches and enquiries confirms this is no conspiracy ‘theory’ invented by the public, but a fact, in plain sight, being stonewalled by authorities to all public concerns. Any refusal to believe that a government could allow this to be done on its population is pure denial of truth, as ‘spraying’ of the British population has already been documented and ADMITTED by the British government.

WEATHER MODIFICATION – the unofficially acknowledged contributer to climate change

The words ‘climate’ and ‘weather’ are NOT simply interchangeable terms as weather can and is able to be manipulated with current technology – but the global-warmist PR campaign has abused this interchange to serve its own agenda exposed below. There is no force more powerful than the sun driving our climate but extreme weather events and abnormalities of natural cycles being experienced globally are NOT solely due to solar-induced climate.

As the search results above confirm, millions worldwide are exponentially becoming aware through their own common sense and observation that the skies and weather are being manipulated by the copious ‘weather modification programs’ CURRENTLY in operation globally and financed by the same ‘private’ interests to great detrimental effect on people and the environment. Even NASA themselves admit that  - “any change in global cloud cover may contribute to long-term changes in Earth’s climate. Contrails, especially persistent contrails, represent a human-caused increase in the Earth’s cloudiness, and are likely to be affecting climate and ultimately our natural resources…” 

Consequently, there is absolutely no justification that even further irresponsible and illegal experiments be endorsed as proposed by the Solar Radiation Management Research Governance Initiative. Ironically, this self-appointed and self-serving SRMG ‘governance’ stated itself - “It could be potentially risky when large-scale experiments of this technique are deployed in the real world.” and from the Christian Science Monitor Nov 11/10; Raw Story Nov 29/10 - “Even though it no longer takes an Einstein to tag doing more of something that isn’t working as “insane”, such frightening forecasts are sparking renewed calls for massive chemtrail spraying masquerading as pseudo-scientific “geoengineering” on both sides the Atlantic.” 

Another study published in July 2010 by the United States Government Accountability Office stated that “not one geo-engineering technique is safe and their implementation could cause more damage than the supposed catastrophe they intend to avoid.” This study concluded that - “climate engineering technologies do not now offer a viable response to global climate change.” Even Greenpeace’s chief UK scientist – a staunch advocate of the man-made global warming hoax – Doug Parr – has slammed attempts to geo-engineer the planet as “outlandish” and “dangerous”.

WEAPONISED WEATHER EXPOSED

‘STRATOSPHERIC WELSBACH SEEDING FOR REDUCTION OF GLOBAL WARMING’ patent

Plans to implement SAG have been around since at least 1991 – with reports of its activity beginning to surface in the mid 90s. The US Hughes Aircraft Patent #5,003,186 Patented March 26, 1991 called  ‘Stratospheric Welsbach Seeding For Reduction of Global Warming’ proposed injecting into the upper atmosphere a “very fine, white talcum-like” powder of aluminum oxide, barium oxide and other oxides for the stated purpose of reducing Global Warming”.

Steve Hamburg, Chief Scientist for Environmental Defence Fund (EDF) and Co Chair of SRMGI said “Solar Radiation Management could be potentially risky when large-scale experiments of this technique are deployed in the real world.” Using airliners to spray aluminium powder in an effort to avert global warming is called for in the Welsbach patent. It suggested that tiny metal flakes could be “added to the fuel of jet airliners, so that the particles would be emitted from the jet engine exhaust while the airliner was at its cruising altitude.” 

The Welsbach patent cautioned that the resulting “white skies may be unpopular.”  And indeed they are! Our blue skies have been stolen from us. SAG has been seen and documented from the ground and is even viewable by satellite. This patent is clearly currently in action exposing the SRGMI as complete farce.

INDEPENDENT UK LAB RAIN WATER TEST RESULTS REVEAL HIGH LEVELS OF HEAVY METAL TOXICITY

Independent labs in the UK are now detecting toxic levels of aluminium, barium, magnesium and other high levels of conductive and heavy metals elements in rainwater samples where systematic documentation of this activity has been observed and documented.

Also extremely serious cause for concern is that pH levels are reading lower than normal – meaning - the soil is becoming infertile. These particular metallic element levels and pH conditions are NOT due solely to ground-based pollutants (ie road traffic and industry) indicating the source is coming from above ie ‘aviation fallout’ – The overlooked major air pollutant in the air comes from aircraft, yet ‘aviation emissions regulations’ are not being considered when trying to attend air pollution levels, let alone enforced by authorities charged with the responsibility of ambient air quality for public and environmental health.

Instead, safety levels are continually raised year after year by the same authorities deliberately to accommodate increasing contamination levels. Not only are air emissions not being factored into causes of air pollution but it appears the entire airline industry’s aviation emissions are virtually exempt from CO2 emissions charges all together  -

“APPLICATION AND ALLOCATION OF ‘FREE’ (aviation emission) ALLOWANCES!!

Directive 2003/87/EC stipulates that in the first trading period (from 1 January 2012 up to and including 31 December 2012), the total quantity of emission allowances to be allocated shall be equivalent to 97% of historical aviation emissions. For the second period that starts on 1 January 2013 (and ends at 31 December 2020), this quantity will be equal to 95% of historical aviation emissions.

Of this total quantity of emission allowances, in both trading periods, 85% will be allocated free of charge, and 15% will be auctioned. On 7 March 2011, the European Commission adopted Decision 2011/149/EU whereby the historical aviation emissions were set at 219.476.343 tonnes CO2.” 

Dr. Ilya Sandra Perlingieri speaks the truth of the SAG worldwide operation. She states:

“The chronic assault of breathing/absorbing these now billions of tons of hazardous aerosolized chemicals and heavy metals over more than a decade without our informed consent. When one does not look for or address primary causes, then other issues can be blamed. This, on top of a government’s silence or refusal to respond and the corporate media’s complicity, make for an extremely dangerous combination that puts us all at grave and daily risk. As brain function is diminished, and other things are blamed for it, any population is easier “to control.”  

Public requests for more accurate detection of causes of symptoms via appropriate blood tests for heavy metals are being denied by doctors in the UK and worldwide – When presented with requested rainwater tests demonstrating toxic elements in the air ARE over the safety limit levels – doctors are continuing to ignore the rainwater results, insisting they will only give heavy metal blood tests based on ‘drinking water’ test results – deliberately avoiding testing what is in the air and thereby stonewalling toxicity results patients are finding themselves.

This is clearly not ‘responsible’ healthcare. Only patients who can afford to pay privately for specific blood or hair analysis tests are able to discover the direct correlation between heavy metals and an exhaustive list of diseases – meaning, the true causes of symptoms are being deliberately ignored by allopathic medicine and all the doctors who practice it – the Hippocratic Oath is thus better defined as Hypocritical Oath – care of patients clearly has been replaced by corporate, pharmaceutical interests who make more money keeping the public ill than by helping them get well.

DELIBERATE STIGMATISING of TERMINOLOGY TO DISCREDIT PUBLIC CONCERN 

The public’s term for Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) is ‘chemtrails’ – A Google search for this term elicits about 8,490,000 results – This term used by the public to describe what they see has been deliberately twisted into a discrediting tactic to divide and conquer those who dare to question what is clearly going on above all our heads – In point of fact, this term was ‘officially’ used “On October 2, 2001, by Rep. Dennis Kucinich who introduced the “Space Preservation Act of 2001″ (HR 2977) which called for the elimination of “exotic weaponry” from space. Among the weapons to be banned were weather-modifying weapons such as … “chemtrails” The original bill acknowledging this technology remains on the pages of the Congressional Record to this day.” 

The public are not in any way referring to the natural vapour trails (contrails) that used to come from the exhaust of jets before these toxic particulates were introduced into jet fuel in unmarked military, private and commercial airlines since the mid 90s to the present day. The Met Office in collusion with the con perpetrated on the public has even given Stratospheric Aerosol Injection emission formations ‘official cloud names’ that did not previously exist prior to the commencement of SAG in the mid 90s.

The subliminal covert and overt propaganda war to sway public opinion is deliberate and insidious – manufactured names of SAI are being taught in schools to create the illusion that they are ‘natural’ clouds formations. Obviously they are not – Our children are being coerced to believe a lie, along with unsuspecting adults susceptible to the subliminal images of SAI inserted ubiquitously now in all forms of advertising and media in an attempt to make the criminal SAI activity appear normal and natural and thereby ‘acceptable’. 

FACT – AIR POLLUTION is the BIGGEST KILLER IN THE UK.

Statistics from 2010 state 29,000 premature deaths resulted from air pollution with the highest demographic being 4,300 deaths in the capitol of London. Long term exposure to air pollution reduces life expectancy (statistically) by 11.5 years. 58% of the (PM) ‘particulate matter’ pollutants were identified as coming from ground traffic, yet the source of the remaining 42% – ‘aviation’ emissions – was completely ignored.

When questioned at an air quality meeting at Wandsworth Town Hall on the 21st March 2012 (http://outofbreathwandsworth.eventbrite.com/) as to why aviation emissions were not being factored into testing sources of air pollution in London, Mrs Jill Phillips, of Wandsworth Technical Services Department said, “there aren’t enough funds to conduct heavy metals testing” yet £4 BILLION is somehow being sourced at a time of austerity to clean up the Thames.. AND the government are somehow able to fund 14,000 troops along with navy and air force for ‘alleged’ security purposes against ‘alleged’ terrorism threats during the London Olympics. (There is now a larger military presence in London than in Afghanistan).

These irresponsible inconsistencies of the allocation of fast-diminishing public monies must be immediately redressed, reprioritised and rectified. “Tiny Particles Can Kill” the August 5, 2000 issue of New Scientist pointed to findings in six cities over 16 years showing that “city-dwellers in Europe and the U.S. are dying young because of microscopic particles in the air.” The Neurotoxicology (brain poisoning) division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says that exposure to airborne Particulate Matter “is an environmental health risk of global proportions.” [Health Risks Of Aerosoled Particulates PubMed Abstract] “Hearts as well as lungs can be damaged by ultra-fine particles small enough to get into the bloodstream and inflame tissues and cells… After they reach the heart, the particles are thought to cause a stress reaction in cells, producing inflammation that contributes to heart disease.
