US Special Forces Invade North Korea says Senior US Officer

UK TELEGRAPH | MAY 29, 2012

Army Brigadier General Neil Tolley, commander of US special forces in South   Korea, told a conference held in Florida last week that Pyongyang   had built thousands of tunnels since the Korean war, The Diplomat reported.

“The entire tunnel infrastructure is hidden from our satellites,” Gen Tolley   said. “So we send (South Korean) soldiers and US soldiers to the North to do   special reconnaissance.”

“After 50 years, we still don’t know much about the capability and full   extent” of the underground facilities,” he said, in comments reported by the   National Defense Industrial Association’s magazine on its website.

Gen Tolley said the commandos were sent in with minimal equipment to   facilitate their movements and minimize the risk of detection by North   Korean forces. At least four of the tunnels built by Pyongyang go under the Demilitarized   Zone separating North and South Korea, Tolley said.

“We don’t know how many we don’t know about,” he admitted.

Among the facilities identified are 20 air fields that are partially   underground, and thousands of artillery positions.

In February, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported that had built at least   two new tunnels at a nuclear testing site, likely in preparation for a new   test.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il dead at age 69

Associated Press
December 19, 2011

Kim Jong Il, North Korea’s mercurial and enigmatic longtime leader, has died of heart failure. He was 69.

In a “special broadcast” Monday from the North Korean capital, state media said Kim died of a heart ailment on a train due to a “great mental and physical strain” on Dec. 17 during a “high intensity field inspection.” It said an autopsy was done on Dec. 18 and “fully confirmed” the diagnosis.

Kim is believed to have suffered a stroke in 2008, but he had appeared relatively vigorous in photos and video from recent trips to China and Russia and in numerous trips around the country carefully documented by state media. The communist country’s “Dear Leader” – reputed to have had a taste for cigars, cognac and gourmet cuisine – was believed to have had diabetes and heart disease.

“It is the biggest loss for the party … and it is our people and nation’s biggest sadness,” an anchorwoman clad in black Korean traditional dress said in a voice choked with tears. She said the nation must “change our sadness to strength and overcome our difficulties.”

South Korean media, including Yonhap news agency, said South Korea put its military on “high alert” and President Lee Myung-bak convened a national security council meeting after the news of Kim’s death. Officials couldn’t immediately confirm the reports.

The news came as North Korea prepared for a hereditary succession. Kim Jong Il inherited power after his father, revered North Korean founder Kim Il Sung, died in 1994.

In September 2010, Kim Jong Il unveiled his third son, the twenty-something Kim Jong Un, as his successor, putting him in high-ranking posts.

Traffic in the North Korean capital was moving as usual Monday, but people in the streets were in tears as they learned the news of Kim’s death. A foreigner contacted at Pyongyang’s Koryo Hotel said hotel staff were in tears.

Asian stock markets moved lower amid the news, which raises the possibility of increased instability on the divided Korean peninsula.

South Korea’s Kospi index was down 3.9 percent at 1,767.89 and Japan’s Nikkei 225 index fell 0.8 percent to 8,331.00. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 2 percent to 17,929.66 and the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 2 percent to 2,178.75.

Children Vaccinated against AH1N1 suffer from Narcolepsy

The World Health Organization reports that cases of Narcolepsy are possibly related to the vaccine Pandemrix

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Tuesday that at least 12 countries reported cases of narcolepsy in children and adolescents who had previously been vaccinated against influenza AH1N1.

Pandemrix is produced by GlaxoSmithKline

The Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety, WHO has published a statement specifying that “since August 2010, following massive vaccination against influenza virus H1N1 in 2009, there were cases of narcolepsy in children and adolescents in at least 12 countries. “

However, the group has said it takes “more research” to determine the exact relationship between cases of narcolepsy and influenza vaccination, through the use of the vaccine Pandemrix or another one.

Last week, the WHO announced it was investigating a rise in cases of narcolepsy in Finland which could be associated with the vaccine ‘Pandemrix’ manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, since all patients seemed to have been immunized with the same product.

Finland discontinued use of the vaccine

The Government of Finland had reported cases of narcolepsy among people ages 4 -19 years old, vaccinated against influenza AH1N1.

In Helsinki, the National Institute of Health and Welfare of Finland (THL) published a study showing that the H1N1 flu vaccine Pandemrix, manufactured by pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, increases the risk of childhood narcolepsy.

Since August 2010, following massive vaccination against influenza virus H1N1 in 2009, there were cases of narcolepsy in children and adolescents in at least 12 countries, "WHO says

According to this study, between 2009 and 2010 authorities diagnosed 60 cases of narcolepsy in Finnish children and adolescents between 4 and 19 years, of which 52 (almost 90 per cent) had been vaccinated with Pandemrix.

The phenomenon led the Finnish health authorities to stop using this vaccine as a preventive measure to determine the possible side effects.

Narcolepsy is a pathological state that causes the patients to suffer irresistible sleep at any time.

Possible affected countries

The WHO has donated 36 million doses of the vaccine ‘Pandemrix’ to 18 countries. Three of those countries are Latin American ones, but so far non of those nations have reported cases of narcolepsy.

The list of countries that received ‘Pandemrix’ includes: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cuba, North Korea, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Namibia, Philippines, Tajikistan, Togo, Rwanda, Kenya, Mongolia and Senegal.

The completed final report on the relationship between narcolepsy and this vaccine will be published on August 31.

Fidel Castro: Obama may attack Iran to win second term

Digital Journal

Former Cuban President (Dictator) Fidel Castro believes if United States President Barack Obama orders a nuclear strike of Iran, he will win a second term. He also believes the U.S. could attack North Korea soon.

On Wednesday, former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who has not been in the media since 2006, published a column in a Cuban state media publication titled “The Empire and War.”

In the article, Castro speculated that President Barack Obama could order a nuclear strike against Iran to help him win a second term in the White House, according to the Associated Press. The former President further added that Obama could attack North Korea because of the recent incident where North Korea was accused of attacking a South Korean ship.

Castro went on to state that the U.S. Commander-in-Chief lives in a world of fantasy because many of his advisers are planting such things in his head. “Could Obama enjoy the emotions of a second presidential election without having the Pentagon or the State of Israel, whose conduct does not in the least obey the decisions of the United States, use nuclear weapons against Iran?” Castro asked.

“How would life on our planet be after that?” Castro then condemned Israel for its attack against a Gaza-bound international aid flotilla, reports CRI English. He called Israel’s actions “truly fascist Nazi fury” toward the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Pentagon Controlled Propaganda Placement on CSI NY

Infowars.com

A primetime CBS show that aired last week featured a notable example of so called “propaganda placement”, where a talking point is inserted into the plot in order to shape public perception, often at the behest of the government.

CSI NY’s episode entitled “Point of View” featured a character who researches “conspiracy theories”, such the deliberate dispersal of potentially dangerous chemtrails into the atmosphere.

First the character, a professor, is labeled”odd”, then “anti-American”, before finally he is revealed to be a “domestic terrorist” hell bent on releasing a biological weapon in New York.

The following is a partial transcript of dialogue from the show:

CSI detective: “I have a little intel on Professor Scott; he has a history of espousing various conspiracy theories; sharing them with his students got him into a little trouble.”

Professor’s friend: “Every university has a least one unconventional professor.”

Second CSI detective: “Oh come on Payton, this guys ideas here are totally anti-American. Look at this; water fluoridation, tsunami bombs, chemtrails…

First CSI detective: “What are chemtrails?”

Third CSI detective: “Some people believe that vapor exhaust from aircraft are actually dangerous bio-chemicals dispersed into the air.”

Friend of the professor: “Which only proves that the professor is a little odd.”

Watch the video here.  (the above dialogue begins at around 24:40)

Call me a rabid conspiracy theorist, but the episode happens to coincide with a State Department guide that dismisses a range of “conspiracy theories”, including the use of depleted uranium by U.S. forces in Iraq as existing only “in the realm of myth”.

But the government cannot inject plot lines into TV dramas – that’s simply a baseless conspiracy theory, isn’t it?

Unfortunately no, it is not. As we covered in depth last year, in just one publicly announced instance, shows on all the major networks in the U.S. were infested with plot lines and talking points aimed at promoting “service and volunteerism”, as well as other topics high on the priorities list of the Obama administration.

One of those shows, according to the Entertainment Industry Foundation, was CSI: NY on CBS.

The week that followed saw many subliminal messages, as well as overt talking points, inserted into shows on all the networks.

Neither was this the first time the corporate networks prostituted their integrity and handed over control of their content to the Obama administration. Back in June 2009, ABC News mimicked the likes of Communist China and North Korea by completely turning its news coverage over to the government and excluding any dissenting opinions to promote President Obama’s health care agenda.

The use of the chemtrails talking point in CSI: NY is interesting given that the dispersal of sulphur containing aerosols into the atmosphere is a practice that has beenproven to have been undertaken, and is a regular part of controversial discussions concerning geo-engineering the planet in the face of climate change.

Of course, you’re not supposed to know that, you’re just supposed to think it’s a crazy conspiracy theory espoused by nut case anti-American terrorists who want to kill you with bio weapons.

Could this be a latest example of propaganda placement be a manifestation of Obama’s information czar Cass Sunstein’s all out war on “conspiracy theories”? Or is that just another conspiracy theory too?
