In a recent interview on CNN, former CIA officer Michael Scheuer helped the two teleprompter readers understand what is really going on in the Middle East. In fact, he took them both to history and current events school in a matter of 5 minutes. As a former CIA man, Scheuer not only clarified for the audience what does the U.S.-led war on really mean, but also agreed with Congressman Ron Paul, on the fact that Empire-building for the sake of controlling countries’ resources is never a good idea, especially when the oppressor is bankrupt.
