Fast & Furious Scandal goes up to White House

Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Rep. Darrell Issa (R-California) says it is now very apparent, if it was not before, that the White House was deeply connected in the “Fast & Furious” mission where guns were trafficked across the US-Mexico border. Mr. Issa appeared on FOX News’ “Special Report” program to discuss the matter. Transcript below.
BAIER: Now to operation “Fast and Furious,” your investigation there.
You sent a letter to the White House, asking for William Newell, the special agent in charge of the ATF Phoenix field office and Kevin O’Reilly, director of North American Affairs — American Affairs National Security Council staff, an e-mail exchange between the two of them and I’ll quote from your letter.
The e-mail says, quote, “When a 22-year-old kid on state financial assistance walks into a gun store and plops down $12,000 in cash to buy a tripod mounted 50 caliber rifle, that’s a clue even for us that he’s involved in trafficking firearms to a Mexican DTO, in other words, moving this to cartels. Is this — do you believe, evidence that this goes all the way to the White House?
ISSA: Well, it went all the way to the White House, whether it went to people who knew or should have known to stop this, remains to be seen, but our committee has been following the trail that has been impeded by the administration, particularly, by the justice department. And each time we get to a certain level of clearness, somebody gets fired, somebody gets changed, and we keep going.
Well, stop throwing the little guys under the bus and just tell us that somebody did something stupid by allowing this so that we can be assured it won’t happen again. So far, we don’t get that.
BAIER: And you have in this letter a request for response from the White House by September 14th to make Mr. O’Reilly available. Has there been a response yet?
ISSA: Not yet. The expectation is, we want to be very narrow. There was an exchange. We have copies of it. We become aware of it. There’s a claim that it was benign. That there wasn’t a lot of information exchanged. f he corroborates that, we can move on, because we have lots of other areas in which we’re seeing an expanding program that “Fast and Furious” wasn’t supposed to be, but appears to be.

When Darrell Issa was still waiting to get into the position he has now he said he was going to clean up the whitehouse and heads were going ot roll and it seeemed like everyone was living in fear of Mr. Issa, once he got in and people started asking him when he was going ot impeach Obama he said “I’m here to make the President look good” so I didnt’ hold out much hope for him, now he is more oer less saying he just wants to know who did something stupid so he can insure it doesnt’ happen again. The Whitehouse must be shaking in their boots. Darrell Issa is not going to do a thing to Obama or anyone else, no one is going ot do a thing to anyone in the whitehouse, the Congress the Suprememe court or anyone else who needs to be arested fo treason and msurder if you will, thats what this gun runner thing was , murder, people died. We have been supplying guns ot rebels and drug cartels and everyone from the Palistinians to the so called Libyan rebels. this Gov. has nothing to do with us, nothing to do with America, they have their own agenda and it doesn’t include us, someone is getting their cards in place for the final hand and someone is making a ton of money,
When you have people running for Office, President of the US, and they are members of the CFR and you have all the top brass in the pentagon who are members of the CFR and no one , including the Tea party who backs them , knows anything about this but here I am, a house wife with a computer and I know, they don’t? Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, John Bolton, John McCain, all members of the CFR, Rick Perry has been seen attending the Bilderberg meetings , any President who isn’t OK with the CFR doesn’t win, what they hell is that? why did this Government let this happen and continue to happen for almost 80 years, how did we let in the UN who works for the CFR for the most part , they are now going to run the country, a group of foreigners who are obviously anti American, a bunch of money grubbing unelected officials who have no idea of the consequences of their actions, they are power mad. Darrell Issa is not what we need, we need some group, like Judicial watch to really weed out the unAmerican Progressives, the marxists and anything else that is not in keeping with our Governrment and our constitution, not someone who is on the payroll and has already been given the world not to do the right thing and he obeys. Are there any real men left in this country? any real patriots? I doubt it, they are all at the rodeo making a real living. Where the effeminate heterosexuals in office came from I have no idea, they are certainly not there making an honest living and they are not patriots.
